My nationality is Australian

My ethnicity is Vietnamese.

I’m short, I am about 155cm!

I was born on 4/09/1990

Yes I do! :) He is an amazing guy and we’ve been together for over 6 years now.

Is it hard maintaining a long distance relationship?

For my boyfriend and I, not really. Of course it is hard because we are apart and we would rather not be doing long distance, but we have a strong relationship so I feel it isn’t as bad as people say long distance is. We talk everyday through messages and Skype maybe 3-4 times a week. Trust, commitment and communication is key to maintaining a healthy relationship!

Why did you move to Japan?

I have always wanted to live in Japan just once in my life, so I thought I might as well do it while I am young and not tied down yet. It wasn’t an easy move, I thought about it for about 2 years before deciding to make the move. It was very difficult at the start because I moved alone, without any friends, family or boyfriend. However, everyone supported me and I’m very thankful for that!

How did you afford to move to Japan?

Before I moved to Japan I was working multiple jobs to save up enough money. I have always travelled a lot to Japan in the past by just working part time jobs and then travelling once a year to Japan. Moving to Japan wasn’t cheap, I did work a lot to be able to save up enough money to move over. End of the day it is possible for anyone to move to Japan, just work really hard, save up and you can do it!

How did you move to Japan?

The process was quite easy. I went to the Japanese embassy in Australia to talk about my options on what I can do in Japan, applied for a visa, received the visa and that was all I needed to move. It will be different for everyone so I can’t talk for everyone. The best thing to do is to go to the Japanese embassy in your own country or go to their website for information.

Where will you live in the future?

At the moment I'm unsure, however I would like to settle down in Australia eventually.

What are Kim Dao's social media accounts?

Here is the list~
