Daiso Japan Beauty Products - 100 Yen

Hi everyone!!

Not sure if you noticed but I changed my blog layout!! I got sick of the other layout and wanted something more simple, hope you guys like it! I know I have been neglecting my blog a lot... When I moved to Japan I thought I would have more time to work on my blog and Youtube, however work has been so busy I haven't had time to do any of that :( But I will try my hardest to spend whatever time I have free to work on my blog!

Today I'm going to talk about some Beauty Products from Daiso! Daiso is a 100yen store in Japan and they also have stores in other countries! 100yen is about $1, and they have some pretty cool things in there. In Japan, Daiso is huge and they have a lot of interesting beauty products in there, so I bought 10 of them to try out!

Item 1: Face Mask

I thought this was really unique and cool! This has mini face masks that are in a form of a tablet! To use them you just put the tablet into the tray and pour in your toner or essence!

Then it expands into a sheet mask!

I found that the mask wasn't very moisturizing, I felt maybe because the toner I used was too heavy. I think if you use this with an essence it would be better!

Item 2: Silicon mask

I thought this item was SO cool! You put this over your sheet mask to keep it in place and also to keep the hydration there.

I always have a problem with sheet masks being too big for my face so this item is perfect for me. You can also wash this and reuse it!

Item 3: Wash Net

This item is meant to help create foam for your cleansers. It worked really well and is really gentle on your skin. You just apply your cleanser onto the foam, wet it and then rub it together

Item 4: Pore Care Pack

This item is meant to help you get rid of pores. To me it didn't make much of a difference to be honest..

You wet your nose, stick it on and leave it for about 5-10 minutes, then you rip it off...

It hurts so much though!!!!

I felt it didn't really do that much for my skin. My nose felt the same.

Item 5: Face Roller

This item was really popular a while ago so I thought I'd try it out. Apparently it's meant to give you a smaller face... I don't think it works personally but it does feel quite nice if you have tense muscles

Item 6: Eyebrow Template

I honestly thought this item would be a disaster. I tried it out and LOVED it!!

If you suck at doing eyebrows like me, this is perfect for you! I felt it was SO easy to use and the shape was really good too!!

Item 7: Double Eyelid Tape

I never used double eyelid tape before so I thought I'd try it out.

I have no idea what I'm doing...

Yeah, I probably did it wrong but you get the idea haha

Item 8: Smooth Skin

This item confused me... some people told me it removes hair but it doesn't work for me haha. I felt that it didn't do anything

Item 9: Head Massage

This is an octopus shaped head massager that is meant to feel good? But it felt hard and didn't feel good at all unfortunately haha

Item 10: Foot mask

This is just like the silicon face mask except a foot version. It does keep your feet really moisturized after!

Here is the video if you guys haven't seen it yet!!

Makeup Forever Rouge Artist Intense in 32 Review

Hey guys!

Today I'm going to be reviewing Makeup Forever's Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick in 32!

I was gifted this from one of my Youtube friends, Shirley Wu! Check out her channel!

I was talking to Shirley a long time ago when we were doing a makeup swap, and she asked me if I've ever tried Makeup Forever before. I never have because you can't get the products in Australia, so when she went to IMATS LA a few years ago she picked some stuff up for me!

One of the Makeup Forever items she got me was the Rouge Artist Intense lipstick

I really like the packaging, really simple and sleek.

Swatch:

As you can see on the swatch, it's really pigmented

vlcsnap-2014-04-15-17h25m39s192
vlcsnap-2014-04-15-17h25m51s63
See how matte it is?

Overally I was really impressed with this lipstick! I've tried matte lipsticks before and I never liked them but this one I did. It's not drying at all compared to the other matte lipsticks.

Pros:
- Very matte and not drying at all!
- Very pigmented

Cons:
- Has that weird lipstick odour. Not sure if you guys know what I'm on about, but I find that Western lipsticks have this weird lipstick smell.
- Expensive and hard to get if you are not in the US
- Because it is a matte lipstick, if your lips aren't moisturized enough then it will be a bit hard to apply

ZA Plumper Lips Review

Hi guys!

Today I'm going to be reviewing one of my favourite lipsticks! It's the ZA Plumper Lips in Cinnamon Shimmer (03).

vlcsnap-2014-04-15-17h21m51s204

ZA is under the Shiseido brand and was sold only in the Chinese region (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan etc). I have always wanted to try out the brand ZA but it's so hard to find! Though now it is more available. I think they started selling ZA in Singapore and they recently started selling ZA in Japan. Anyway, I got this lipstick while I was in Hong Kong at Watsons. I didn't really think much when I got it, I just really wanted a ZA product and thought it looked interesting!

The colour is quite nudey

Final look:

I absolutely LOVE this lipstick because it's so moisturizing! Even though this apparently gives you "plumper lips" I don't think it really does. I have used "lip plumper" lipglosses before and I have to say it doesn't really make much of a difference in terms of plumper lips.

Final Verdict:
Pros:
- Cheap! (If you're able to get it instores)
- VERY moisturizing, I love it!

Cons:
- Hard to get your hands on, but you can probably buy it online
- Doesn't really make your lips plumper but that's not really a big issue for me

Sailor Moon Miracle Romance Eyeliners Review & Giveaway

Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to be reviewing some of my favourite eyeliners that I discovered in Japan recently!

Sailor Moon Miracle Romance Eyeliners

You can find these eyeliners pretty much in any drugstore in Japan. Donkihote also sells them! The liquid eyeliners are 1250yen ($13) each and the pencil eyeliner is 945yen (~$10). For those living overseas, you can buy them on Ebay for quite a reasonable price.

I got these eyeliners mainly because I absolutely love Sailor Moon! To be honest I thought the eyeliners wouldn't be good quality since trying out the testers I wasn't so impressed. I wasn't going to buy all of them but in the end I caved in and did anyway.

Overall I am really impressed with these eyeliners! They are great quality and I definitely recommend the to everyone. The testers I used at the stores were all used up really badly so that's why I was disappointed at the quality, but using them properly they will be great!

First I'm going to review the Black and Brown Liquid Eyeliners.

First I will start with the black.
As you can see the packaging is lovely with the moon princess at the front!

You can open up the front cover~

The back

The eyeliner itself

Swatch:

As you can see it's really smooth and it is super easy to use! It reminds me of the Dolly Wink Eyeliner which is one of my favourite eyeliners ever. It also doesn't smudge at all!

You can purchase the Black Eyeliner here: http://amzn.to/1IfKe7r

Brown Eyeliner~

The packaging is pretty much the same as the black eyeliner

The eyeliner itself has "Miracle Romance" written in brown so easier to read than the black which was written in white

Sharp tip so it is very easy to apply and easy to do light strokes for your eyeliner.

Swatch:

Like the black eyeliner it is great and really easy to use! I absolutely love these 2 eyeliners and would recommend them to anyone! Both eyeliners remind of both the Dolly Wink black and brown liners and they work pretty much the same I think.

Next I'm going to review the Miracle Romance Cream Pencil Eyeliner!

They only released the pencil eyeliner for Sailor Moon. I usually stay away from pencil eyeliners because I find them not as easy to apply as liquid liners. However I really do like this one!

Same as the other liners, you can open up the front:

The pencil eyeliner itself:

I was so surprised when I swatched this the first time because it's sooooo smooth! Such a lovely eyeliner with lovely packaging! I also stayed away from pencil eyeliners because they smudge a lot, but this one didn't smudge at all!

Next is the Sailor Mercury and Mars Eyeliner~ the "Colour Liquid Eyeliner"

I was hesitant to buy the Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars liquid eyeliners because using the testers, the eyeliners looked really messy! But after owning these, I really like them! If you are careful with them, then they aren't messy at all.

Sailor Mercury Colour Liquid Eyeliner

You can open it~

The eyeliner:

To use this you have to push in the eyeliner and then twist the end for it to work. When you twist the end for the liquid to come out.

Swatch:

As you can see I had too much product when I swatched it the first time. If you're not careful and twist the eyeliner too much, too much liquid will come out. The eyeliner doesn't smudge at all which is great! This is a great eyeliner if you want to use it for different makeup looks, but I can't see myself using this as much so I recommend only getting this if you are into using different coloured eyeliners.

And the last eyeliner!
Sailor Mars Colour Liquid Eyeliner

Open up for Sailor Mars~

The back:

The eyeliner itself is the same as the Mercury one

I didn't twist it as much so not as much of the eyeliner came out

Swatch:

As you can see the colour is lovely! And I was careful to not apply too much of the eyeliner on my hand.

Here is a video version of the review I did! Also there is a giveaway! I'm going to be giving away one of the black liquid eyeliners!

Hope you guys enjoyed this blog post~!
