Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color N & Gel Eyeliner Review

Today I'm going to review some Jill Stuart makeup products I just purchased! For those of you who don't know, Jill Stuart is a popular Japanese makeup brand, known for their gorgeous packaging!

When I was in Japan I did see Jill Stuart counters around, but I didn't buy anything. I wasn't into makeup too much back then so I really regret not trying them out! I was looking around online and noticed that Jill Stuart had released a limited edition gold gel eyeliner for their summer collection, and I immediately wanted to buy the eyeliner. I wanted a light shimmery colour that I can use to highlight the inner corners of my eyes and will last all day. I have used eyeshadows in the past but they only stay for about an hour and then get rubbed off. Since it was a limited edition product I decided to buy it straight away, and thought I might as well try some of their other products. I have heard great reviews about the Jelly Eye Color N so I decided to buy a few too!

Onto the reviews and photos!

Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color N

I bought 3 of these, 02 Gold Light, 09 Midnight Shine, 13 Antique Chiffon

I LOVE the packging! It's so princess-like!

Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color - 02 Gold Light

As you can see, it's SUPER shimmery and very pretty! This is colour is very sheer so it is great for highlighting.

Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color - 09 Midnight Shine

I was expecting this colour to be a dark blue, but it turns out it is a dark purple colour. Nevertheless, still a really pretty colour and would be perfect to wear on a night out.

The one on the left

This one is a very pretty light brown colour. This is something I could wear out everyday!

So that's all for the photos of the Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color N. Overall I love these! The packaging is so pretty and the eyeshadows are really good. When you touch the eyeshadows, they actually feel like jelly! Also, these eyeshadows have a rose scent to them. These are very easy to apply, you can just use your fingers. It would take you ages to get through the whole jar, I was worried that I would use the jar up really quickly, but you only need a tiny bit which will go a long way. They also last a long time on your eyelids. They are super shimmery so if you don't like shimmery products then maybe these aren't for you. I love these eyeshadows and hope to try out more in the future!

Jill Stuart Lasting Gel Eyeliner

I bought 2 of these, 02 Bitter Brown and 05 Gold Shell (limited edition). These just came out for their Summer 2011 collection

Very pretty packaging once again!

Jill Stuart Lasting Gel Eyeliner - 05 Gold Shell (limited edition)

Very pretty and it's prefect for using to highlight the inner corners of my eyes.

Jill Stuart Lasting Gel Eyeliner - 02 Bitter Brown

I bought this because I don't have a brown eyeliner yet, and was wanting one for a while. Very pigmented and very smooth!

I LOVE these gel eyeliners. They are both really pretty and the lasting power is amazing. I was having a hard time trying to rub them off my hands! Using water didn't work so I had to use make-up wipes to remove them. If you're looking for a long lasting gel eyeliner I really recommend these!

Jill Stuart Eyeliner Brush

This brush came out with their Summer 2011 collection as well. When I saw the brush I immediately wanted it, it looks so pretty especially with the small charm hanging off it!

This eyeliner is unique, when you open it up you will see it has a lever

You have to push it up for the actual brush

If you let go it will immediately go back down so you have to put the lid on the back

In order for it to stay you have to put the lid on the back

It's a nice brush but I have to say that the charm is a bit annoying. I didn't know that you had to put the lid on the back of the brush in order for it to stay. The brush quality itself isn't very good to be honest, it's hard to work with. I wouldn't recommend getting it.

Jill Stuart Samples

The seller I got these items from also gave me the samples!

Jill Stuart Smooth Silk Foundation

Jill Stuart Moist Silk Foundation

Jill Stuart Body Milk

I haven't tried them out yet but if I like it then I'll purchase the full size! I also got the Jill Stuart body protector sample but forgot to take a photo of it.

Overall I'm really happy with my order. I ordered these items from bringblingJP. The seller is really nice, responds quickly to emails and have the best prices I've found online. She doesn't overcharge for shipping which is great! She charges you the exact amount. She lives in Japan and buys them from the counters so you don't have to worry about buying fakes. Before she ships out your items she emails you the photos of the items you will receive. Really recommend buying from her if you want Jill Stuart stuff!
