Japan Barbie Eye Princess Lace Blue & EOS Adult Grey Circle Lens Review

Hey everyone!

I have another circle lens review for you guys today. These lenses were sponsored by shoppingholics.com/. They contacted me a while ago to do a review on some lenses and I agreed. I ended up choosing the "Japan Barbie Eye Princess Lace Blue" and the EOS Adult Grey circle lenses. I was meant to post this review ages ago but since I was really busy with uni I didn't find the time to T_T

Japan Barbie Eye Princess Lace Blue

These are hands down my most favourite pair of circle lenses I have owned. I love the dolly effect it gives, and best of all - it is super comfortable!

These lenses are really unique, it has a lace pattern but you can't really tell unless you look closely. The case it comes in is also super adorable!

You can actually open up the ears and then store your circle lenses inside. It's a cute idea but I personally wouldn't do it, it doesn't look very hygienic to be honest and the lid feels like it doesn't close tightly enough

You can open up the head to put your tools inside!

When you get the lenses for the first time, they will be inside the head. It was a bit hard to get out as well. You have to bend the head of the toy back quite a lot and then you just have to keep twisting the jars until you are able to get them out.

Love the dolly effect it gives. On the bottle it says the diameter is 17.5mm. I'm not sure if it is 17.5 though since it doesn't look like it. Even though it is a blue colour, you can't really tell because the lace pattern makes it pretty dark, but I really love the effect it gives. These lenses are the most comfortable I've worn, even more comfortable than the EOS ones I think. When I wear them out occasionally I have to put eyedrops in but it's not too bad.

Comfort: ♥♥♥♥♡
Enlargement: ♥♥♥♥♥

EOS Adult Grey

I've always wanted to try grey circle lenses so I picked out the EOS Adult Grey circle lenses to try out too.

These lenses were packed in a really pretty box

Also got a case for it

These lenses compared to the Japan Barbie ones are more dramatic. If you want to pull them off you will have to wear heavier makeup I think.

I thought that the EOS Adult Grey weren't as comfortable as the Japan Barbie Ones. They are definitely more dramatic if that is something you're after. These lenses are 14.0mm in diameter.

Comfort: ♥♥♥♡♡
Enlargement: ♥♥♥♥♡

So that's it for now! I'll try do a lot of blogging and youtube videos within the next few weeks! I'm finally finished with uni for the year but lately I've been working almost everyday so have still been quite busy :( Hope you guys enjoyed this review and I'll talk to you guys in the next blog ^__^

thanks for the review; I'm fond of the princess lace as well... especially on you. My skin is a little too dark and warm for me to pull of certain light colors, so i'm gonna have to skip out on the adult grey, assuming i could wear circle lenses. love the makeup as well; very flattering for the lenses. i wear contacts normally, and have trouble putting 14 mm in, so anything bigger would also be a challenge :P

Were they old version EOS Adult Grey? I heard old version vs. new version had comfort issues. I had the old version Adult Green and they felt SO thick and heavy on my eyes, I could only wear them for a few hours before my eyes were like "I need waterrrrrr." I LOVE those lace ones, though. I was on the fence about them but you kinda make me wanna buy a pair now!

Wow these lenses are so gorgeous on you. I love the outer design of the lace ones. I actually really like the new adult lenses on you, even though in the photos I would have guessed that they were purple rather than grey.
The lens case thing is a little weird. xD But kinda cool in a way.

Hmm I'm not sure if they are the old or new versions >< But yeah I felt that the ones I have did feel heavy on my eyes, I only wore them for about 1 hour and then ended up taking them out >< But the lace ones are my favourite ones so far!
