19/09/13 - Paris Day 1

Hi everyone!

Ok, so I said that I would blog everyday this month and I broke that promise T___T

While I was in Paris, it was so hard to blog... I had to get up at 6am everyday, leave by 7.30am and I didn't get back to the hotel until 11pm so I literally had no time to rest. I seriously thought my legs were going to collapse on the last day working with Liz Lisa at Tokyo Crazy Kawaii in Paris. I did have a day off in Paris but because it was only 1 day that I would probably never get for a very long time, and my flight was that night, I really wanted to go out to do some sightseeing and vlog so no chance to blog then :( My flight took around 24 hours worth of flying so that took out another entire day... When I got back to Australia I was planning on blogging straight away, except on my flight from Singapore back to Perth, the cabin pressure got to me. As we were landing I felt intense pain in my teeth... really bad pains. While I was in France I forgot to bring my retainers with me, I used to wear them every night but now I only wear them like once every 2 weeks or when I feel like it (which is not often at all). I thought it was a retainer problem so after I landed, I asked my bf to take me straight home so I can put in my retainers. I wore it for an hour but it got so painful I took it out... that's when the pain got worse. I tried to take medicine but nothing helped :( It was so painful I just went to the pharmacy to get really strong painkillers which helped, fortunately there was apparently nothing wrong with my teeth but I had a sinus problem due to the change in pressure when landing in the airplane.. I know I'm making a lot of excuses but when your mouth is in intense pain you don't think about anything else besides trying to get rid of it :P

Because of all that, I had no time to actually sit on a computer to blog :( And since I got back to Australia it was straight back to work ... sigh..

Luckily! I get a day off tomorrow so please let me know if there is anything you want me to film!

So today I'm going to tell you guys about my first day in Paris!

Bf took me to the airport~ Had to say bye for a week :( (I don't like wearing makeup on the airplane, especially if my flight is going to be around 24 hours long lol)

I first had to make a stopover at Singapore Changi airport. I've been to this airport like 15 times but I've never actually been outside it haha.. I hope I can one day to visit Singapore!

Enjoying my Green Tea Frap while waiting for my flight. I went to Victoria Secret there and bought a passport case! I saw it last time when I went to LA, but I seriously spent way too much money at that time so I didn't get it. However I kept thinking I really wanted it when I got back so I decided to get it anyway. It's just so handy since I usually carry a lot of stuff with me when I travel, and I always lose my boarding pass and all haha.

I flew Singapore Airlines to Singapore and then switched to Air France to Paris. When I got on the Air France plane, I could instantly tell the difference in service. Maybe I'm just spoilt from Singapore Airlines but I did not enjoy the Air France flight at all.. I have a lot more to complain about on my last day in Paris when I almost got into an argument with one of the Air France staff =__=

The VERY lucky thing was, I had one of the seats with plenty of leg room reserved for me. Thank god Liz Lisa booked this seat, otherwise I probably wouldn't have been able to survive!

I landed in Paris Charles de Gaulle airpot~ It took quite a long time to get out of the airport, maybe about an hour or so because the lines for immigration was so long :( I got out finally and then had to take the taxi to my hotel

Selca in the taxi.. I was so tired from the flying, a bit puffy faced haha.

The taxi ride took about 1.5 hours because of the traffic :(

Finally made it to Bercy! Where I was staying!

When I got to the hotel and checked in, I received a message saying I have 5 hours free time so I could do whatever I wanted during that time. I was not expecting this and I honestly didn't know anything about France so I just went upstairs to skype with my boyfriend to figure out what I was going to do haha. I decided in the end to go to the Arc de Triomphe in the middle of Paris! I wanted to go see the Eiffel Tower aswell but I had the whole of the last day in Paris free so I thought it would be better to see it then.

My outfit~

My hotel was really close to Bercy station

So because I did absolutely no research about France before I left, I had no idea wtf I was doing... lol. I thoug to myself "If I know how to use the train system in Japan, I can do anything!"
And nope, I got very confused the first time LOL.

I got a 1 day unlimited pass for around 10euros.. actually not worth it if you only go to 1 place (which was what i was doing). I had no idea how to buy tickets for the zones and all so yeah, that was my mistake lol.

Trains that have mutliple layers! never seen that before!

As I exited that station, I tried to put my ticket through but it didn't work! I was so confused and had no idea what to do, but luckily there was a young couple who told me to walk through with them as they insert their ticket... so I was like.. ok? LOL. Apparently that's what a lot of people do in Paris.

Anyway, got out of the station to finally see the Arc de Triomphe! It was so beautiful and amazing! Picture spam!!

Aren't the streets just beautiful?! It really makes you feel like you are in a movie scene or something! haha

Me with the Arc~

I walked around the area to where most of the tourists looked like they were at

I was getting hungry so I went to a random restaurant to eat~

It wasn't great to be honest, very average. I bought the 3 course meal for 19euros.

After lunch I thought I'd head back early to the hotel to rest up

When walking back to my hotel I decided to take the longer route so I can go visit the park behind the hotel

Back at the hotel resting.. and I can't resist window light for photos! haha

I met up with the staff from Liz Lisa and then we took the shuttle bus that was taking us straight to the place where Tokyo Crazy Kawaii Paris was being held~ We took it with all the other shop staff as well as the Black Diamond Gyaru circle.

Random photos from the bus

Arriving at Parc de Floral! I don't know what this place is but it looks like a castle!!

We went inside to set up our store~

Before

After

(It took around 8 hours to get this set up =__=)

Anyway! Sorry for not blogging much but I will do my best still!! Keep checking back as I will still try to write multiple blog posts a week!

Paris is truly a perennial city. Eiffel Tower, the mammoth Louvre Museum, the cathedral of Notre-Dame and many more attractions awaits you. Finding the Cheapest Hotels in Paris is a pain. But it is worth it if you found the hotel located in the heart of the city.

Paris looks like a lot of fun, especially when I see your photos. :) I also would like to go to the Liz Lisa store, but I can't find the adress in Paris, a bit clumsy xd, but could you give me an adress or description about where I can find it? That would really help me out!
Anyway, thanks for your great videos, posts and photos, I love them! :3
Please keep on making them if you have the time!
