Taobao Haul 2 - Fake Liz Lisa, INGNI Replica ClothingHi everyone!
I'm still in the middle of my exams right now, I just had one today and I decided to take the night off to relax before I study for my next exam. This post is VERY overdue, I've been wanting to do it for so long but since I was so busy this semester, I didn't get the chance to.
After about a month when I came back from Japan this year, I did another Taobao haul. For those of you who do not know what Taobao is, it's like a Chinese version of Ebay. I like shopping on there because items are cheap, and you can find very good replicas for Japanese brands such as Liz Lisa.
Read my blog post of my first Taobao Haul
As most of you guys, I LOVE Liz Lisa clothing, but unfortunately not being in Japan, it is hard to get your hands on the authentic clothing. There are way too many sites these days selling fakes claiming that they get the Liz Lisa clothes from the factory directly themselves. Don't trust any of the sites that sell Liz Lisa, all of them are fake except for the Liz Lisa Rakuten store, or the Official Liz Lisa store itself. If you guys aren't sure about a site selling Liz Lisa, you can leave a comment in this blog post and I'll get back to you ASAP about it. Most of the other sites selling Liz Lisa get their stock from Taobao, and then charge 3x the price for the same item. I've been ripped off before, so it's not a nice feeling. I don't mind buying Liz Lisa fakes (hey, looks almost the same as the original for about 1/3 of the price), but I really hate sites that claim they sell authentic Liz Lisa but are just ripping people off. I have refused sponsorship from various stores as well (even though free Liz Lisa clothes is tempting), I don't believe in supporting any shop that tries to lie to their customers, and I don't want to lie to my readers and subscribers.
If you guys want, I can do a separate blog post/video about how to order on Taobao if you guys are still confused on how to order from there.
Anyway, onto the haul~
The reason why I wanted to order on Taobao again shortly after coming back from Japan, was because Liz Lisa released these REALLY cute suspender shorts, but they were going to come out to Japan just after I left :( So I had to stalk Taobao for a while until they got them in stock!
Liz Lisa Suspender Shorts in Apricot
I love them so much! I couldn't decide what colour to get them in.. so I just got 2 colours :x The material is great, just love everything about these shorts!
Liz Lisa Suspender Shorts in Pink
I prefer the apricot one more, but I still love the pink one!
Liz Lisa Spring 2012 Blue Polka Dot Shorts
These shorts were part of the Liz Lisa Spring 2012 collection. I didn't end up buying them in Japan because they were super pricey (close to $100aud), so I ended up getting one on Taobao. Unfortunately I don't like them very much, I think the leg parts look way too big and wide on me
Liz Lisa Brown Shorts
These shorts are okay, I don't love them but I do like them.
Liz Lisa Spring 2012 Pink Dress
This is another item that was from the Spring 2012 collection. I saw this while in Japan but didn't pay much attention to it. I decided to get it on Taobao, and I actually quite like this item. I think I'm going to get another one in green when I do another Taobao haul. The material isn't as good quality as the authentic one, but it still looks nice.
Liz Lisa Bow Top
I was disappointed in this one. The material was cheap and I feel that it's not going to last very long :/
Liz Lisa Winter 2011 Brown Lace Up Boots
Also decided to get some shoes this time on Taobao! I already have these boots in beige, which I bought in the Liz Lisa store in Hong Kong, however I really wanted the brown ones too. Liz Lisa only carry sizes M and L for shoes (I'm a size S, *sigh*) so I ended up getting the beige ones in size M. Because they were really expensive, I didn't want to spend money on another pair when it doesn't really fit comfortably, so I decided to get the brown pair on Taobao. I really love these boots, I can definitely feel a difference in quality of material if I compare the real and fake ones, but I think that it still looks REALLY good!
Liz Lisa Brown Bow Boots
These boots are quite cute. A bit disappointed with the size, it said it's size 36 but for some reason it was a bit bigger than expected. If I wear them with thicker socks they probably will be ok.
Another Japanese brand that I have been liking lately is INGNI (pronounced INGU), not sure why it is spent like it is, but yeah when we were in Japan we asked a shop assistant how to pronounce the name and that's what they said lol. Anyway, INGNI is another gyaru brand, it's not as girly as Liz Lisa, it is probably more mature looking but I really love their styles. The price range is probably about the same as Liz Lisa. There are quite a lot of INGNI fakes on Taobao too, which are also about 1/3 of the price.
INGNI Long shirt-dress
Love this dress! It's simple but it just makes you look sophisticated.
I really like this shirt, it goes well with a lot of clothes! Material is nice as well! One thing though if you get this shirt, tighten up the buttons before you wear it. I had a problem with almost all my buttons falling off when I first wore this shirt.
Don't think this is a brand, but I thought this heart pattern blouse was just so cute so I had to get it! I really like it!
I also got a few belts but I forgot to take photos of them. They are seen in the photos with the heart blouse and the INGNI long shirt-dress photo. The belts were super cheap (around $2 each I think?) so I'm really happy with them!
Hope you guys like this post, if you have any questions feel free to post in the comments section and I will answer them when I can!
