06/02/12 - みんなのメイクHey everyone!
Today I'm going to blog about my day meeting Japanese Makeup Gurus!
A new site called みんなのメイク (Minna no Meiku) just started up at the end of last year and I was contacted by them to join up. They also organized a party when I was in Japan so I was so glad to be able to attend!
That day, my friend Joanna was landing in Japan so I went to her hotel to pick her up just before the party.
I then headed off alone to where the party was held..I'm quite confident with catching the train by myself in Japan so I took the train to where I was meant to go for the meeting. I left Ikebukuro about 40 I got to the station I was meant to get off at and proceded to walk to where (I thought) was the right way... Except where I was walking it got darker and darker so I knew it wasn't the right direction. I walked back and took another road but it turns out that was also the wrong way T_T I was starting to stress out since the meeting was going to start in another 20 minutes and I was just so lost. The roads in Japan are really confusing :( In Australia road signs are very straight forward but in Japan... I was just so confused T_T I knew that I probably wouldn't be able to find it on my own at this rate so I went into a department store and asked a staff member where the place was. She was super nice and gave me directions and I ended up making it 2-3 minutes before *phew* haha.
I was super nervous because this was my first time meeting other people from Youtube. Everyone was so nice though!
We first introduced ourselves, I was super nervous again because my Japanese isn't very good compared to everyone else's :(
Food was so good!
All the girls~
Haru-nyan and Chihiro-san
With our name badges!
Melodee-chan from danceandmelodee & Asahi-san!
After the meeting, Melodee and I decided to go to Shibuya for a bit to hang out. Unfortunately we didn't have much time since it was already starting to get late, and in Japan trains stop running at 12am :( I knew that my friends were starting to worry for me because I left on my own at night, so we only had time to go to take Purikura.
